That is the reason why it would be better to continuously exploit this kind of data for the well being of companies.
Positive and negative consequences
Apart from that, digitize business and its services is well appreciated for many reasons. First of all, storing and keeping data on digital media allows for simplified accessibility and less storage space. Moreover, relations between the companies and their customers strengthen thanks to social networks. For example, that enables the two parties to have a direct, active and living relationship. The image of the company is of value too. Finally, the increase in revenue is huge because digitalization offers an opportunity for low-cost marketing with a flat-rate promotion.
However, this change can also lead to some drawbacks. The most important one is job-cutting in many sectors. The era of digitalization no longer requires the function of humans in some aspects. Moreover, access to it can be restricted. So it is necessary to have certain skills which aren’t accessible to all because it requires a perfect mastery of the computer tool. Without forgetting the risks of hacking, some people can use confidential and personal data for malicious purposes and can cause huge issues.
Indeed, the era of digitalization of companies and services is necessary for their evolution. Thus, it is important to look ahead and adapt to the change that will eventually affect all of us. The company of tomorrow is synonymous with performance thanks to new methods and strategies that are already available for its progress. So, this evolution has many advantages as well as drawbacks, but it is possible to create new opportunities as well!
